TWO SISTERS (2019)

SYNOPSIS

Following a girl’s release from an asylum, she is reunited with her sister and together they return to their abandoned family home. However, the two sisters harbour a dark and tragic family secret, which begins to unfold after their return.

姐妹俩在其中一位离开精神病院后重新团聚，随着两人返回废弃许久的家，一直隐藏在家族背后的悲惨事件也即将被揭开……
究竟笼罩着这间屋子的是什么？

ABOUT THE DIRECTOR

James Lee was born in Ipoh, Malaysia in 1973. Trained as a graphic designer, he started acting and directing in theatre before venturing into filmmaking. Among his best-known films are Histeria (2008), Sini Ada Hantu (2011), Tolong Awek Aku Pontianak (2011) and Petaling Street Warriors (2012). Two Sisters is his first film released in Malaysian cinemas after 4 years since the releases of Sunti @ Facebook (2015).

李添兴导演生于1973年，马来西亚怡保人，曾为平面设计师，后凭靠自学成为电影制片人。早在勇于尝试影片制作前，他已投入剧场界，演绎及执导多部戏剧作品。李添兴舞台演出经验丰富，包括在前卫的《小鸡系列》（Chicken Parts Series）里带来颇具实验性质的表演，以及《Expat Comes to Town》、《Box Of Delights》、《Chekov's Marriage Proposal》。同时，他也在本地电影人阿米尔·默罕默德（Amir Muhamad）的戏剧作品《唇对唇》（Lips to Lips）中参与演出。此外，他所执导的舞台剧作品仍有《Love Poems》、于五艺中心（Five Arts Centre）与演员工作室（Actors Studio Theatre）举办的导演工作坊中创作的《The Dumb Waiter》，以及2003年的《樟宜》（Changi）。
